The markets opened gap up, extending gains for a third straight day following positive global cues.The US equity markets rose after ISM data surprised positively. Asian markets were mixed in early trade. On the domestic front, Sensex was trading at 17585 with a gain of 106 points while Nifty was trading up by 33 points at 5351. Sectorally, except IT, all the sectoral indices were trading in the green with Metal, Realty, Consumer Durables, Banking and Capital goods leading the uptrend with over one percent gains. The market breadth was strong and three stocks were seen advancing against every single decline.
