Indian markets opened on a flat note today with the BSE Sensex trading at 17384 and NSE Nifty trading at 5300 levels. On the global front, Asian stocks fell while the US and European markets were also down by around 1 per cent each. Sectorally, most of the sectoral indices were seen reeling under the selling pressure. Capital Goods and Realty were the biggest losers losing over half a percentage point while Healthcare was the top gainer with around one percent gains. The market breadth was positive and seven stocks were seen advancing against every five declines.
