Extending gains for the second straight session, the markets were moderately positive amid a firming trend in global markets. Sensex was trading with a gain of 37 points at 17369 while Nifty traded at 5296 with a gain of 19 points.Sectorally, IT and Teck indices traded in the negative led by Infosys. The IT major lost 9 per cent after the company reported a muted guidance for the year. All the other indices were trading with gains of over one percent. The market breadth was strong and three shares were seen advancing against every single decline.
