Morning Summary- Market Synopsis- 11 April, 2012

Good Morning Everyone,
The markets witnessed a weak opening today reflecting global sentiments. Overnight, the markets in Europe and US closed with big losses with rising bond yields in Spain indicating fragile nature of recovery in debt ridden European countries. The Sensex is currently trading at 17114, down 130 points and the Nifty is at 5203, down 40 points. Sectorally, except Healthcare, all the sectoral indices were seen trading in the negative. Shares of airline companies were, however, up in a hope that the government will allow foreign airlines to pick up stake in the domestic carriers. The market breadth was weak and nearly five stocks were seen advancing against every eight declines.
