The Indian equity indices advanced moderately in the opening minutes, with the Nifty trading above the 5300 milestone and the Sensex breaching 17500 on an intraday basis. Sectorally, except IT, FMCG and Oil & Gas, all the other indices are seen trading in the green. Metal and Auto are the top gainers with over one percent gains. The broader market too has extended recent gains with Midcap and small cap indices trading with over half a percentage points gains. The market breadth is positive and three stocks are seen advancing against every single decline.
