Learn From Your Failures

Everyone suffers from failure now and again, but it is what you do or think when you are defeated that makes the difference. There are those of us, who when defeated simply walk away and vow never to try that again, or become involved in such activities again. This is true of many investors who start out very positive wanting to achieve a dream through investing, and when the going gets difficult, they simply give up too easily and walk away.

i. Learn from your mistakes:
Study your setbacks. Looking back and seeing where you went wrong, learning lessons from your set backs is key to moving forward.

ii. Don’t quit easily:
Stop blaming others or even luck. Blame stops with yourself, examine and look at why things did not work out the way you wanted them to.

iii.Blend persistence with experimentation :
Keep the focus on your goal, but try new approaches. See things with 'new' eyes.

iv.Have patience :
Remember there is a good side to every situation. You need to learn to find it and see the good side, and turn your back on discouragement.
