Commodity Market Update (Gold)


Precious metals on CMX are trading slightly mixed since morning with Gold trading at 1244.50, down 1.50 points or 0.12% after having tested a low of 16 months low of 1241.10 while Silver is trading in green at 18.735, up 0.28% or 5 cents after having tested a high of 18.805 an ounce. WTI Crude Oil is trading higher after the last day’s loss and trading at 103.02, up 0.31 points or 0.31% after having tested a high of 103.35 per barrel. Natural Gas futures rose 0.73% or 3.3 cents to trade at 4.575 per mmbtu. Base metals are rallying since morning on the back of better than the expected ISM Manufacturing PMI data from China. 3-month Aluminum is leading the group, surge around 1.5% or 25.75 points to trade at 1856.00 and Copper is up 1.16% or 79.25 points to trade at 6922.75, followed by rest of the metals which are up more than a percent each.
