Closing Summary, Market Synopsis: 6th June, 2014

The 30-share BSE Sensex rallied 376.95 points or 1.51 percent to 25396.46 and the 50-share NSE Nifty shot up 109.30 points or 1.46 percent to 7583.40. The strong momentum may continue till the announcement of Union Budget (likely in July) and the Nifty may see 8000-mark but post Budget, correction may be likely. On BSE, Midcap and Smallcap closed higher with Midcap gaining 1.59% Small cap 1.56% at the time of market closing. On sectoral front, Realty is the top gainer to add 5.02% while on downside, IT is down by 0.63%.

Further the market breath stands positive with 2143 shares are seen advancing against 972 declining shares.
