The benchmark indices started trade on a flat note ahead of the Inflation data. Sensex and Nifty were seen trading at 17629 and 5345 respectively, almost unchanged as compared to the previous close. Sectorally, half of the sectoral indices were trading above the equator with the other half trading in the negative with minor losses. Oil & Gas was the top gainer with half a percentage points gain. The market breadth was positive and three stocks were seen advancing against every two declines.
