Good Morning Everyone,
The Indian stock market extended losses from the previous session with the frontline indices down by nearly half a percentage points. The Sensex fell below 16,500 while Nifty too slipped below the 5000 levels. The weakness was in line with losses incurred by other Asian markets. European and US indices too closed with losses of 1 to 2% yesterday. Almost all the sectoral indices were in the red with FMCG, IT and capital Goods being the sole gainers. The market breadth was weak and one stock was seen advancing against every two declines.
