Precious metals on COMEX are trading higher since morning and bounced from its 6-months low as physical demand for this metals spurred. Actively traded Gold contract surged around 1.5% or 17.60 points to trade at 1219.90 while Silver futures jumped to a high of 20.44 before settling at 19.97, up more than 3% or 60 cents an ounce. Base metals are gaining since morning as world two largest economies are improving. 3-month Zinc and Lead both are top gaining counters among the group, up around 1.75% each to trade at 2096.75 and 2249.00 respectively while Copper is up 65.50 points or 0.89% to trade at 7440.00 per metric ton. WTI Crude Oil is up 0.35% or 35 cents to trade at 98.75 while Natural Gas is trading almost flat at 4.239 with a meager gain of 1.2 cents or 0.28% per mmbtu.
