Commodity Market Update (Copper)

Precious metals on COMEX are trading higher since morning and continued its last session’s steep gain. Actively traded Gold contract is up half a percent or 7.50 points to trade at 1232.60 while Silver is trading near its one month high at 20.215, higher by 9 cents or 0.50% an ounce. Base metals are losing since morning and 3-month Nickel and Zinc are losing most of the ground, down more than a percent to trade at 13850.00 and 2050 respectively while Copper is down 0.64% or 47 points to 7338.00 per metric ton. WTI Crude Oil is up 0.12% or 13 cents to trade at 95.56 while Natural Gas is trading in red at 4.296, down 2.5 cents or 0.58% per mmbtu.
