Commodity Market Update (Gold)

On CMX, precious metals are trading higher since morning due to short coverings after the last day’s steep decline on better employment data from the US. The actively traded Gold is trading at $1224.40, gaining a percent or $12.0 and front month Silver rose 0.90% or 17 cents to trade at $18.90 after having tested a high of $19.11 an ounce. WTI Crude Oil futures is losing 30 cents or 0.29% to trade at $102.92 while Natural Gas is trading in green at $3.655, up 1.05% or 4 cents. On LME, base metals are trading slightly higher since morning with Copper trading at $6785.0, higher by 17 points or 0.25% while Zinc is adding more than a percent or $18.50 to trade at $1859.25.
