Commodity Market Update (Copper)


Precious Metals traded on CME continue to remain range bound for the second day and we find Gold at 1273.50, down 6.4 or 0.50% and Silver at 19.73, down 22 cents or 1.11%. Prices in the local markets were also lower despite the weaker rupee which is trading at 60.20, down 30 paise now; Gold is trading at 26589.0, down 90 points and Silver is at 41320.0, down 377 points as we write this. Base Metals are also lower today with Copper traded on LME losing 1% or 69.5 to trade at 6933.0 per ton - MCX Copper is down 3.35 to trade at 419.65. Crude Oil continued to ease further and is seen trading at 104.53, down 40 cents from previous close. Natural Gas has recovered 0.75% and is trading at 3.641 at present.
