Closing Summary, Market Synopsis: 15th July, 2013

Key benchmark indices closed on a negative note, inspite smart recovery witnessed in last hour of trade CNX Nifty closed down by 56 points to 5811, BSE Sensex shut shop down 171 points to 19325. The overall breadth of the market was negative, the Advance-Decline ratio in NSE stood at 472 advance to 688 declines. Sector specific Telecom, IT & Capital goods were the outperforming sectors, whereas Oil & Gas, PSU & Realty underperformed the broader market. Out of Nifty50 stocks there were 16 advances to 34 declines. Indusind Bank, HCL Tech & BHEL are the top gainers , BPCL, JP Associates & ONGC all down by more than 3% are the top loser on Nifty50.
