Commodity Market Update (Gold)



Precious Metals are trading in green on CMX, Gold is up $5.0 or 0.31% at $1653.90 an ounce and Silver is up $0.17 or 0.53% at $30.10 an ounce; domestic prices are also in line with international markets with Gold up 80 points and Silver up 158 points at 30987.0 and 58144.0 respectively. The bias is neutral for intraday. Base Metals are trading deep in red today; three month Copper is at $8051.25, down $50.75 or 0.63%. The rest of the metals and down nearly a percent since morning. The bias is negative for base metals today. Crude Oil is slightly lower on NYM at $92.72, down 37 cents or 0.40% while Natural Gas is higher by 0.03 or 1.13% at $3.324 per mmBtu. On MCX, prices are trading with a positive bias today with Crude at 5130.0, up 8 points while Natural Gas is up 2.20% at 184.60. The rupee is trading weak at 55.27, down 20 paise or 0.37% against the dollar.
