Commodity Market Update (Copper)



Gold and Silver are trading mixed since morning, the COMEX listed Gold is trading at 1768, down by a dollar or 0.09% while Silver is trading at 33.89 lower by more than half a percent. We expect prices to trade in a range with a negative bias for the day, Gold prices are likely to test support around 1755 and 1745 levels where as prices may face resistance near 1780 per ounce. Base metals are trading sharply lower across the LME. Benchmark three-month Copper is trading down by 0.71% or 59 points to trade at 8165 while Nickel is trading at 17400 after losing 1.5% or 265 points. On Energy front, Crude Oil and Natural Gas are trading lower by 0.23% and 0.53% at 91.85 and 3.548 respectively. Oil prices are likely to trade lowly while Gas prices are expected to extend its previous gain during the evening session.
