Commodity Market Update (Copper):


Precious metals on CMX gained on Friday as traders booked their profits after the last three day’s losing streak. Actively traded Gold contract tested a high of 1205.60 before settling at 1203.10, up 0.80% or 9.70 points and Silver jumped 2% or 32 cents to trade at 16.50 an ounce. WTI Crude Oil is losing over half a percent or 33 cents to trade at 50.46 whereas Natural Gas is trading at 2.539 with positive bias. Base metals are gaining since morning with Copper trading at 6050.50, up around a percent or 55 points while Nickel is most gaining counter among the bucket, which added almost 2% or 240 points to trade at 12775.00, followed by Lead and Zinc which are gaining around 1.5% each.
