Morning Summary, Market Synopsis: 11th March, 2014

After setting record high, the market has opened on a flat note on Tuesday. The Sensex is up 6.60 points at 21941.43, and the Nifty is up 0.10 points at 6537.35. The Indian rupee is trading at 60.6525 and continuing its strength for the last four days, appreciate by 0.40% or 20 paise. On Global front, Asian stocks shrugged off an uninspiring close on Wall Street to rise at Tuesday's open. US stocks fell on Monday, as data at the weekend showing a deceleration in China's exports sparked worries about the health of the global economy. On BSE, Mid Cap and Small Cap are gaining around half a percent each. On sectoral front, BSE IT and BSE Power are the top gainers among the all sectors, surged more than a percent each while BSE Metal is losing more than 2%.
Further the market breadth stands positive with 720 shares are seen advancing against the 504 declining shares.
