Intraday Summary- Market Synopsis- 13 March, 2012

The market has been successful in maintaining its gains since morning, however, the movement is very range bound. Currently, the Sensex is trading near the level of 17800 and the Nifty is hovering around the level of 5430. Meanwhile, the midcap counters are trading positive by nearly a percentage point and the small-cap counters are trading positive by 0.86 percentage point. On the sectoral front, all the indices are trading in green. Metal and Oil&Gas indices are leading the list of gainers with gains of over three and two percentage points respectively till now. Further, the market breadth is positive as two stocks are seen advancing for every one decline.
