Key indices snap three-day losing streak; Nifty ends above 8200: Benchmark share indices ended over 1% higher on Thursday, amid firm global cues, to end their three-day losing streak led by financials and FMCG shares. The Sensex ended higher by 365.8 points at 27274.7 and the Nifty was up 132.5 points at 8234.60. The market breadth indicating the overall health of the market was strong with more than two gainers for every loser on BSE. In the foreign exchange market, the rupee edged higher against the dollar. In the overseas market, Asian equity markets with the exception of Shanghai gained today. Europe gained more than a percent. Trading in US index futures indicated that the Dow could gain 125 points at the opening bell today.
