Commodity Market Update (Copper)

Precious metals on COMEX are trading silent since morning with Gold trading at 1316.10, down 1.50 points or 0.11% while Silver is losing more than half a percent or 13 cents to trade at 21.65 an ounce. With the exception of Nickel, base metals were trading lower in the earlier session on LME but later on recovered its losses due to weaker dollar against the currencies. 3-month Copper tested a low of 7165.00 before settling in green at 7202.50, up 7.75 points or 0.10% while Nickel is up 85 points or 0.63% to trade at 13640.00 per metric ton as we write this. WTI Crude Oil was trading lower on concerns over the consequences of the US government shutdown but later on revered its lost ground and trading at 103.61, up 0.29% or 0.30 points per barrel at time of writing this. Natural Gas is trading almost flat at 3.51 with a positive bias.
