The Indian Markets opened flat today after a sharp run-up in last nine consecutive sessions. The broader Nifty slipped below the 5,600 mark in early trade though it recovered later. Currently, Nifty is seen trading at 5620 with a gain of 10 points while Sensex is trading at 18574 gaining 31 points. Sectorally, except Auto, Metal and Oil & Gas, all the other indices are trading in the positive. Power, Capital Goods, Teck and PSU are leading the pack with close to one percent gains. The market breadth is positive and two stocks are seen advancing against every single decline.
