The markets ended on a flat note after moving in a narrow range throughout the session. The sensex closed at 17767 gaining 17 points while Nifty closed at 5363 with an addition of 5 points as compared to the previous close. Sectorally, while half of the indices closed in the green, the other half registered losses. Consumer Durables and Healthcare were among the top gainers with gains of close to one percent. On the other hand, Realty and Banking topped the list of losers.
