The markets opened on a negative note after the long weekend trading weakness across asian bourses. Sensex was trading at 17288 with a loss of 198 points while Nifty was trading with a loss of 64 points at 5259. Globally, US markets declined last week on the back of weak jobs data. Rising bond yields in Spain weighted on European markets, which closed lower for the third straight week.On the sectoral front, all the sectoral indices are trading in the negative with Metal and Capital Goods trading with loss of over two percent. The market breadth is weak and nearly one stock is seen advancing against every two declines.
