1. Keep a Strong Password

A strong password is at least eight characters long, does not contain your user name, real name, or company name, does not contain a complete word and is significantly different from previous passwords.

2. Use combination of Letters, Numbers and Symbols

To make a password strong one must randomly mix different categories of characters and be creative. Some examples are below:-

1) Spell a word backwards. (Example: Turn "New York" into "kroywen.")
2) Use l33t speak: Substitute numbers for certain letters. (Example: Turn "kroywen" into "kr0yw3n.")
3) Randomly throw in some capital letters. (Example: Turn "kr0yw3n" into "Kr0yw3n.")
4) Don't forget the special character. (Example: Turn "Kr0yw3n" into "Kr0yw3^.")

3. Keep your password Safe

Writing down passwords makes it easier for others to access your private accounts and information. Commit it to your memory.

4. Change your password Frequently

Change your password frequently at least once every 90 days.

5. Do not share with anyone

Don't give out your password to friends or family members, and never give out your password online to others. Also make sure you do not write your passwords on any form or official documents and share it with any advisor or agent.
