Commodity Market Update (Natural Gas)


Precious metals on CMX are trading lower since morning with Gold trading at 1310.20, down around a percent or 10.50 points while front month Silver futures are losing 1.20% or 0.26 points to trade at 21.63 after having tested a low of 21.57 an ounce. Base metals were trading between gains and losses since morning before settling in red. 3-month Zinc is losing 0.60% or 11 points to trade at 1879.00 and leading the metals group as we write this. Copper prices on LME tested a high of 7300 before settling at 7256.50, down 0.40% or 26.75 points per metric ton followed by rest of the metals which are also down around half a percent each. WTI Crude Oil tested a low of 103.45 before settling at 103.68, declined 0.40% or 40 cents per barrel while Natural Gas is trading flat at 3.55 with a positive bias, up 0.31% or a cent per mmBtu on NYMEX. EIA is set to be released its weekly Natural Gas Storage report tonight at 8.00PM with a market forecast of 96 Bcf against the previous week of 87 Bcf.
