Commodity Market Update (Gold)


 
Precious Metals are trading mixed on CMX with Gold trading at 1392.60, down 3.50 points or 0.25% after having tested a low of 1373.60 whereas front month Silver futures jumped around 3% or 0.68 points to trade at 24.20 per ounce. Base metals are trading higher on LME, supported by a stronger economic data from China which showed that China’s Manufacturing PMI rose to 51.0 compared to the previous of 50.3. 3-month Copper is trading at 7231.75, up 1.70% or 120.75 points and leading the metals group, followed by rest of metals which are gaining around half a percent each. WTI Crude Oil futures extended its last two-session loss as US president wants approval from Congress before taking military action in Syria which may increase supply disruption from the Middle East. Actively traded Crude Oil contract is trading at 106.88, down 0.72% or 77 cents while Natural Gas is up 2% or 7 cents to trade at 3.651 per mmBtu.
